Part of the fun of attending scrapbooking events is getting to know each other before the event. These license plates along with other goodies left my house on Friday. Hope you all enjoy them.

Susie

This is from my friend Stacy and hey I think it is worth sending on. Enjoy!!!

Who is the Susie in your life?

WET
PANTS

Come with me
To a third grade classroom..... There is a
Nine-year-old kid sitting at his desk and all of
A sudden, there is a puddle between his feet and
The front of his pants are wet. He thinks his
Heart is going to stop because he cannot
Possibly imagine how this has happened. It's
Never happened before, and he knows that when
The boys find out he will never hear the end of
It. When the girls find out, they'll never speak
To him again as long as he
Lives.

The boy
Believes his heart is going to stop; he puts his
Head down and prays this prayer, 'Dear God, this
Is an emergency! I need help now! Five minutes
From now I'm dead
Meat.'

He looks up
From his prayer and here comes the teacher with
A look in her eyes that says he has been
Discovered.

As the
Teacher is walking toward him, a class mate
Named Susie is carrying a goldfish bowl that is
Filled with water. Susie trips in front of the
Teacher and inexplicably dumps the bowl of water
In the boy's
Lap.

The boy
Pretends to be angry, but all the while is
Saying to himself, 'Thank you, Lord! Thank you,
Lord!'

Now all of a
Sudden, instead of being the object of ridicule,
The boy is the object of sympathy. The teacher
Rushes him downstairs and gives him gym shorts
To put on while his pants dry out. All the other
Children are on their hands and knees cleaning
Up around his desk... The sympathy is wonderful.
But as life would have it, the ridicule that
Should have been his has been transferred to
Someone else -
Susie.

She tries to
Help, but they tell her to get out. You've done
Enough, you
Klutz!'

Finally, at
The end of the day, as they are waiting for the
Bus, the boy walks over to Susie and whispers,
'You did that on purpose, didn't you?' Susie
Whispers back, 'I wet my pants once
too.'

May God help
us see the opportunities that are always around
us to do
good..

Each and
everyone one of us is going through tough times
right now, but God is getting ready to bless you
in a way that only He can. Keep the
faith.

This prayer
is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts
we receive. There is no cost but a lot of
rewards. Let's continue to pray for one
another.

The
Prayer:
Father, I ask
You to bless my friends, relatives and those
that I care deeply for, who are reading this
right now. Show them a new revelation of Your
love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to
minister to their spirit at this very moment.
Where there is pain, give them Your peace and
mercy.. Where there is self-doubt, release a
renewed confidence through Your grace. Where
there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs.
Bless their homes, families, finances, their
goings and their comings.
Amen.

In Memory of Belle, the loss is so great.

The Last Battle
If it should be that I grow frail and weak
and pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then you must do what must be done,
For this--the last battle--can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
Don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
What is to come can hold no fears
You'd not want me to suffer, so.
When the time comes, please let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me til the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
it is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close--we two--these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

I love you Lizard and I miss you so much.

We Love You Belle

Today was the day. My heart is so broken and I am so sad. This really has to be the hardest thing in the world to do. I was with her the whole way and knew we were doing the right thing.
She had such a hard day and up till the end it was so painful. She was my baby, she was one of the kids that I never had. Why when we are losing so much, did we have to lose her now.
I just want to scream and yell but that will do me no good. Oh I hope the hurt will heal soon but right now I am devastated.
I love you Belle and I am going to miss you.
Love you
Mommy

Dana Lira sent this fun goodie bag. I love chipboard, so this was a win win for me. Thank you Dana, you made a hard day happy.

Susie and Dana I can't wait to meet you at IU. Thanks again

What have I been up to?

Even with moving, I had to find time to create. I had so many scrapbooking magazines that I had figure a way to use them without storing them. The page ideas and sketches need to have a book of their own. So created these 2 little books that are choked full of ideas. They will be a great asset to go to take to crops, etc.

More charms to swap.............this round is flowers. Can't wait to see everyone's creations.

Circle Journals have become my new favorite thing. I made 2 different ones and sent off the pet one for my IU Circle Journall Swap. I hope I can use the recipe one sometime soon.

So my creative juices are still flowing and I am having lots of fun.

Belle

This is Belle. She is the first dog that we got when we moved into our first house. We got her as a puppy and we joke that we failed parenthood with her. We didn't know about crate training, etc so she ruled our house. She and the 3 cats just enjoyed being together. Actually it was funny, she mimicked the cats all the time. Oh we have stories to tell about that.

Today we had to take her to the vet because she was having problems with her legs and we found out that she has bone cancer. We had to discuss our options, none of which are good. Our vet feels that she can be kept comfortable for awhile longer because we will not amputate her leg. She is 12 years old.

So we are going to go get her, keep her comfortable awhile longer and probably say goodbye before we completely move out of our house and into my moms.

To say that I am struggling is an understatement. My pets are my kids because I never was able to have children, so my heart is just tearing at the moment. I would welcome your prayers for us and for Belle too

This is our girl with her make shift hospital tray that Daddy put together. She was so stoned. Our vet, Mark gave her a shot of morphine and she was zoned all night long. We love you Belle
