Oh my heart is so full of happiness. I was able to get a sneak peak at the Zutter Idea Book where I have 2 of my creations. The first picture is with Nan from Zutter showing off my Flower Basket and Hoppy Easter Book. The second one is the BRRR Banner for table tops. What an honor it was to be chosen and I am beyond excited to see it. Can't wait to get the book in my hot little hands.

Well we leave in a few hours and we are looking so foward to this. It has been my dream to go to CHA and it is now time.

Help me get to CHA in Anaheim

If you have known me for very long, you have known that my dream has been to go to the Craft and Hobby Association Show in Anaheim, Ca. Disneyland being there is just a bonus. Anyhow, I have my tickets to the show for Dave and I. We are going as part of Scrapbook Cottage. I am one of their teachers and lead design team member. I am so blessed by this opportunity.
God provided a wheelchair since I still have a broken foot :( and our expenses will be minimal but still have them.
We have many things on Ebay over the next 72 hours. Please if you are able go and buy something so that we can afford this trip.
I big bonus for me this round is that my work is being featured in an idea book from Zutter Bind It all. The book will be at the show for pre-orders. There is also a chance that my projects may also be on display there.

Watch God Provide..........

You know sometimes you feel like you are running or in my case hobbling in circles with no end in sight. We have been trying for a couple months to get me an electric scooter to use while traveling and out of the house. With a broken foot and other nasty medical issues, it can get tough. I don't want to be bound to home. I want to be out and about.

So, I need a scooter. God knows my need and He knows there is one out there for me, so with a humble heart I ask that if anyone has one or knows of one that I can borrow or have, it would be so appreciated.
I will keep you all posted, it will be fun to watch God work.

I have not seen the acclaimed movie but after hearing about it, I thought how fun that would be to do.
While traveling to Washington last March for Dave's brothers wedding, we talked about what we would like to do before we died. I haven't read this list since last March, so I am curious to see what I have accomplised so far.
Here we go..........my bucket list.

1. Go to England and France
2. See Statue of Liberty
3. Visit New York and see a Broadway show
4. See Mt. Rushmore
5. Alaska Cruise
6. See Grand Canyon
7. Go to DisneyWorld
8. Get something I have created published ~ this is done. Have work featured in the upcoming Zutter Idea Book - yeah
9. Be on a Design Team
10. Organize my Craft room, so I have a place to work ~ a work in progress
11. Go back to Mall of America
12. Go to CKU as many times as I can ~ 3 times so far: San Jose in '06, Anaheim in '07, Provo in '08 and hopefully Provo in '09
13. Visit the New England States in the Fall
14. Visit the Precious Moments Chapel
15. Teach classes at scrapbook stores~ had great opportunities at 2 great stores, looking for a long and great relationship with Scrapbook Cottage
16. Try to make CenterPoint a success
17. Continue entering Scrapbook / Craft contests just for fun
18. Attend CHA (Craft Hobby Association Convention) at least once. ~ going in January, 2009
19. Go to Disneyland at least once a year ~ we went in March, 2008 and October 2008. Will be also going in January, 2009
20. Do a Hollywood / Malibu tour

Here is to 2009 and making more of these items happen.

The Bride of Frankenfoot...........

Well if you have followed my blog, you read about my broken foot back in October.
On October 27th, I broke my heal on my left foot. One fracture, that is all but a fracture none the less. When I saw the Orthopedic doctor, he felt that my physical therapist Jenny decide could decide when my boot could come off. You remember the boot that I humbly name Frankenfoot.

Frank and I were together for just over 5 weeks when it was decided that maybe I could part ways with him and settle for the simple yet sublime athletic shoe. All was going well till my foot swelled and the pain resumed.
After a trip to the ER for excruciating pain, the X-ray showed that the fracture had not and was not healing.
Primary doctor was instrumental in putting my relationship with Frankenfoot back together again until I could see the ortho doctor. Frank and I were together for 5 weeks and got back together 2 weeks later. He wanted to spend Christmas with me because Halloween and Thanksgiving were so much fun LOL
Long story short saw the ortho doctor today and.........the foot is still broken, not healing and he says that he needs to get aggressive. So let me introduce you to The Bride of Frankenfoot.
We will be together till February 11th - oh it was a sad day in my world. Began 2008 with back pain and leg problems. Will end it the same way. Guess I need to pray, pray, pray.
